Creative Team – Author & Illustrator

David Langman

David is an Atlanta-based author, husband, and father of three. When his children, Madison, Meredith, and Will, were young, David often made up stories filled with whimsical characters, distinctive personalities, and grand adventures.

After nearly forty years in the financial services industry, David returned to those stories with a renewed commitment to writing them down and sharing them with a new generation of readers. The Pesky, Wily Rabbit is the first in a planned collection of ten adventures featuring playful rhyme, woodland mischief, and characters shaped by imagination, humor, and family storytelling.

David credits his wife, Valerie, and their children with providing the encouragement, patience, and insight that helped bring this book and its future adventures to life.

Allie Daigle

Allie is an illustrator and designer with a background in traditional illustration, digital illustration, watercolor, and surrealism. A graduate of the University of Connecticut with a BFA, Allie has worked in the arts since 2017 and brings a flexible, imaginative style to her creative work.

Her illustrations are shaped by expressive pen work, quirky characters, nature, and organic forms. Having grown up inspired by children’s illustrated media — and creating books, magazines, and stories of her own from an early age — Allie brings that same sense of wonder to The Pesky, Wily Rabbit.

Through her work, Allie hopes to inspire the imaginations of a new generation of young artists, readers, and dreamers.
